About Us

When Applied Products, Inc. was founded back in 1996, a lot of people couldn’t believe we were devoting our careers to the pickup bed cover industry; pickup bed covers were not as popular back then, so why specialize in it? Quite frankly, the pickup truck accessory market is very competitive. Most companies are unwilling or unable to dig deep enough to truly grasp the complexities of designing, developing, manufacturing and marketing a retractable pickup bed cover. We take pride in our company’s reputation for providing the most innovative and only the highest quality products backed by superior customer service and prompt  product availability. We’ve spent over a decade focused on nothing else, and we’ll confess, we love what we do. We thrive on the disciplines of designing, developing and manufacturing, mostly because we take great satisfaction in striving for excellence in the retractable pickup bed cover market.

We have experienced steady growth over the years, and we expect this growth to continue. In December of 2003 we moved from our 10,000-square-foot home of three years to our new home of 20,000 square feet. Currently this facility houses our corporate offices and production areas.

 

In November of 2005, we moved our finished parts, assembly, shipping and storage areas to our 24,000-square-foot facility.  These expansions have allowed us to work more efficiently and to meet the increasing demand for RETRAX pickup bed covers.

 

As our company has grown, so has our product line and our ability to utilize our retractable pickup bed cover technology in the manufacturing of other products. Whether making a RETRAX cover for a custom pickup or engineering rolling doors for a manufacturing plant, Applied Products, Inc. has evolved, and will continue to evolve, into much more than a pickup bed cover company.
